Terms of service
The agreement between you and us for using Plainpaper. We have tried to write it as something you could actually read.

The agreement
These terms are between you and colibri.studio, established in the Netherlands and trading as Plainpaper ("Plainpaper", "we"). By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you are confirming you may bind it.

Your account
You need an account, and the details on it must be accurate. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including what the agents you connect do with it, so keep your password and your agent tokens to yourself. Tell us at [email protected] if you think either has been compromised.
Accounts belong to people, not to job titles. Do not share one login between several people — invite them to the workspace instead, which is what seats are for.
Your content stays yours
Everything you and your agent put into Plainpaper — boards, cards, copy, creative, uploaded files — remains yours. We claim no ownership of it.
You grant us only the narrow permission we need to run the service: to store your content, to show it back to you and the people you have invited, to serve it to the agents you have authorised, and to make backups. Nothing else. We do not use your content to train models, and we do not sell it or hand it to advertisers.
You are responsible for having the rights to what you upload, and for what your campaigns say. If your content infringes someone's rights or breaks the law, that is on you, not on the canvas it sits on.
What Plainpaper will not do
This is worth stating as an obligation rather than a feature, because it is the product's central promise.
Plainpaper does not send your email, place your ads, or publish your posts. It holds no credentials for the platforms you market on. When work leaves Plainpaper it goes through that platform's own integration, initiated by your agent, after you have approved it. We record and gate; we do not execute.
Plainpaper also contains no AI model. You bring your own agent, and its output is its own. We do not warrant that anything an agent writes onto your board is accurate, lawful, or fit to publish — approving it before it ships is your job, and the product is built to make that possible rather than to make it unnecessary.
Acceptable use
Do not use Plainpaper to break the law, to store or distribute material you have no right to, to send or stage spam or deceptive marketing, to probe or attack the service or other customers' data, to resell access, or to work around plan limits.
We may suspend an account that is actively harming the service or other customers. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you first.
Plans, trials and billing
Plainpaper is sold as a subscription per workspace, monthly or yearly. Current plans and prices are on the pricing section of our homepage and form part of this agreement.
New accounts get a 7-day free trial, with no card required. When the trial ends, an account that has not subscribed loses access to paid features but does not lose its content.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period until you cancel, which you can do at any time from the billing screen; cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves you with access until the end of the period you have paid for. Prices exclude VAT, which is added at checkout where applicable.
If you are a consumer
Dutch and EU law give consumers buying online 14 days to withdraw from a contract without giving a reason. Because Plainpaper is a digital service that starts working the moment you subscribe, you are asked at checkout to agree that performance begins immediately and to acknowledge that doing so ends the withdrawal right once the service has been fully supplied. Until then, the 14 days stand. This paragraph applies only if you are buying outside a trade or profession; most Plainpaper accounts are not.
Refunds
Outside that withdrawal right we do not refund part-periods: cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the period you have already paid for runs out. If we have plainly got something wrong — charged you twice, billed after a cancellation — tell us and we will put it right.
Price changes
We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before a price change affects you, and it never takes effect mid-period. If you do not want to pay the new price, cancel before it starts and nothing more is charged.
Availability
We work to keep Plainpaper up and we monitor it continuously, but we do not offer a contractual uptime guarantee. We may change or remove features as the product develops; where a change would materially reduce what a paid plan gives you, we will tell account holders in advance.
Ending it
You can stop at any time by cancelling your subscription or deleting your account. We may end this agreement if you materially break these terms and do not fix it within a reasonable time of being asked, or if we discontinue the service — in which case we will give notice and a fair opportunity to export your work.
After an account closes, content is deleted on the schedule set out in our privacy policy.
Liability
Plainpaper is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, or lost or corrupted data beyond our own backups. Our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to what you paid us in that period.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
Governing law
Dutch law governs this agreement, and disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands.
That does not take anything away from you. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country you live in, and you can still bring a claim before the courts there — no clause here can move that. Consumers in the EU may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
Changes to these terms
We will update the date at the top when these terms change, and give account holders reasonable notice by email of any change that materially affects your rights. Continuing to use Plainpaper after a change takes effect means you accept it.
